This takes a bit of getting used to, and I'm not sure how it will go over with younger readers. The book makes us feel the opposition between these two worlds, cultures, visions of life from beginning to end. And, maybe that was the point, but I feel that many plot elements were present but not developed. His game is tight and he’s easy on the eyes which came in handy with the ladies. The book is readable. and would love to have it all in physical paper. It is quick, easy, and an overall nice book. We have had several good discussions about how "Disneyfied" fairy tales have become; how monsters are really just misunderstood; how fairy tales have to have a happy ending these days as opposed to the original purpose of fairy tales: to teach children about dangers in the world and that they can avoid or overcome it.
